Dear friends, today I want to share with you an important part of my personal and professional history, linked to a figure who marked a before and after in the school and office supplies industry in Mexico: Salomón Pesel , the brilliant founder of Danpex Industries .

I had the honor of presiding over the National Association of School and Office Supply Manufacturers , and during my tenure, Salomón Pesel actively served on the Board of Directors . His vision, commitment, and unparalleled experience were fundamental pillars for the Association's progress. His participation wasn't merely ceremonial; it was genuine, always seeking the common good and the strengthening of all those involved in the sector.
Danpex: More than Six Decades of History and Quality
Danpex Industries is, without a doubt, a reflection of Salomón's entrepreneurial spirit. Over the course of six decades, it has established itself as a market leader in promotional and retail products, especially in the segment of diaries, notebooks, and school and office supplies. Who hasn't owned a Danpex notebook? Its catalog is a benchmark, offering everything from its own designs to those licensed by iconic characters that have been with us for generations.
Danpex's history is a testament to innovation, quality, and adaptability . They have evolved with the market, forging strategic alliances globally and maintaining high production standards, which has earned them multiple industry accolades.
Salomon Pesel: A Visionary and an Exceptional Human Being
Salomón Pesel wasn't just the cornerstone of Danpex; he was a leader with a vision ahead of his time. In fact, his impact and contributions were so significant that he was awarded an honorary doctorate .
Although Salomón Pesel passed away on September 4, 2017, his legacy lives on at Danpex Industries, which continues today with the participation of his family, maintaining the values and excellence he instilled from day one.
Remembering Salomón is remembering a friend, a mentor, and a figure who left an indelible mark on Mexican industry. His life is an example of perseverance, leadership, and, above all, how friendship and collaboration can build great things.
